Product Details

Created with Sketch.
  • Kailh hotswaps - no soldering required. Switch holes are plated to mitigate risk of pad separation.
  • Rotary Encoder w/ 20mm black aluminum knob - configurable in VIA along with preprogrammed functions to control volume, lighting brightness, scroll wheel, and more.
  • OLED screen (128x32) - displays current encoder mode, layer number, caps lock, num lock. Encoder mode is changed on encoder press, and holding encoder down for ~0.3s turns the OLED off.
  • OLED sits flush against the bottom of the switch plate

Differences between prototype photos and production units:

Created with Sketch.
  • A few switch plate mounting holes have been relocated to more inconspicuous locations
  • Prototypes were built using multiple 1/4" thick acrylic pieces, production units are slated to use a single 1/2" thick acrylic mid piece.
  • No photos of aluminum versions available; they have not been built, but open source 3D models are available for review on Thingiverse and GitHub
  • Screws are subject to change: production plan is currently for all visible screws to be black oxide flat head screws.
